What it is

A safe, gentle and effective way to clean drive heads on all writers or players. A disc with an integrated microfibre brush plus special cleaning fluid improves read / write operations and makes drives work for longer.

What does it do?

The disc has a special construction. A microfibre brush is pre-inserted into the fabric of the disc, and is fixed into it. When the disc is used, these brushes will gently rub over the laser reading head of your disc writer or player, and remove residue that can compromise performance.

How does it work?

The cleaning disc is inserted into the drive. It has a soundtrack on it too, timed for the perfect clean, which you can listen to. When the soundtrack is complete, your drive has been cleaned. If a cleaning process does not work, or for more serious residue build-up, apply a few drops of cleaning fluid to the brush before insertion.

Manufacturers recommend the use of drive cleaning kits even when performance appears satisfactory. If heads are clean, the drive reads well on the first pass. The resulting reduction in read operations prolongs the life of your device. Drive cleaning kits should be used as a form of maintenance on a regular basis.
